Dr. Reza Azarderakhsh
CEO & Founder
Dr. Reza Azarderakhsh brings more than 15 years of experience in the areas of cryptographic engineering, protocol design, and cryptanalysis of various cryptography solutions. He received his PhD in Computer Engineering from Western University after that was a postdoctoral researcher at Center for Applied Cryptographic Research at University of Waterloo. He has published more than 100 papers in top tier journals and conferences in the field. He has experiences working on projects for government and industry. He serves as an editor of IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, Cryptography Track and is a co-submitter of the Supersingular Isogeny Key Encapsulation (SIKE) algorithm in the NIST post-quantum cryptography standardization competition.
Ron Tarro
Commercialization and Corporate Development Lead
Mr. Ron Tarro brings more than 25 years of high-tech leadership and commercialization experience to PQSecure. He was the founder and CEO of Systems Design & Development (SDD) which has been acquired by Broadsoft in 2014. Ron is part of Tech Runway’s business accelerator program and state appointed board adviser for technology start startups being funded by local government. He was the former board member and chairman of Tech America, the nation’s largest high-tech trade and public policy organization. He has also served at several university graduate business schools on leadership and entrepreneurship. Ron holds a B.Sc. degree  in Mathematics with a minor in computer science from Saint John University, and M.Sc in Management of Technology from University of Minnesota.
Dr. Mehran Mozaffari Kermani
Senior Cryptographer
Dr. Mehran Mozaffari Kermani has years of expertise in Pre- and Post-quantum Cryptographic Engineering. Prior to joining to PQSecure, he was a senior member at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) for secure ASIC design, part of the Crypto-coprocessor security group. He is currently a faculty member in CSE department of University of South Florida. He has published more than 100 articles in top tier journals and conferences in the field. He serves as an Associate Editor of three IEEE Transactions journals. He is the principal investigator/researcher for several government funded grants on the engineering aspects of Pre- and Post-quantum Cryptography.
Dr. Rami Elkhatib 
Cryptographic Hardware Engineer
Dr. Rami Elkhatib has joined PQSecure as a Cryptographic Hardware Engineer. He Received his Ph.D. from Computer Science and Engineering from FAU.  Rami has (co)authored several papers on cryptographic engineering. He has diverse background in cryptography, programming, and mathematics as well as several published several papers in the areas of cryptography and embedded hardware engineering.
Luke Beckwith
Computer Engineer
Mr. Luke Beckwith is a computer engineer with a background in mathematics and a focus on cryptography and network security. Luke received his Master of Science from Virginia Tech and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at George Mason University. Mr. Beckwith has experience working on IoT security systems, post-quantum cryptography, as well as hardware/software co-design implementations of lattice-based cryptography. He has analyzed many lattice-based algorithms and investigated their performance and security on multiple FPGA implementations.

Dr. Abubakr “Bakry” Abdulgadir 
Cryptographic Research Engineer 
Dr. Abubakr Abdulgadir joined PQSecure as a Cryptographic Research Engineer focusing on secure and efficient implementation of post-quantum cryptography. Prior to that he was a postdoctoral fellow by NSF/IPERF program. He received his Ph.D. from George Mason University (GMU) in the area of secure implementations of lightweight and post-quantum algorithms resistant to side-channel attacks. During his time at GMU, Abubakr served as a member of the Cryptographic Engineering Research Group (CERG) and participated in the development and benchmarking of several cryptographic candidates in several cryptographic competitions. Abubakr’s previous experience includes software development and university teaching.
